The City of Ashland has two public campgrounds, Kreher RV Park and Prentice Park​



Kreher Park is a 31 site RV park, with showers, water, electricity (30 & 50 amp), playground, swimming beach, pavilion and dump station. The park is located on the southern shores of Lake Superior in Chequamegon Bay with easy access to/from US Hwy 2, the Waterfront pedestrian/bike trail, the Ashland Ore dock, City boat launch & City Center

 

Prentice Park, located on the western edge of Ashland, offering 10 tent camping sites and 6 NEW RV sites with water, electric, showers and Wifi. Prentice Park is one of the “jewels” of the City’s park system with multiple artesian wells, 2+ miles of ADA trail, playground, pavilions, and easy access to US Hwy 2 and Lake Superior.

KREHER RV PARK
 Kreher Rv Park is centrally located along the Waterfront Trail, the historic Ashland Ore dock , and right next to a boat launch site for easy access. With 31 sites available from May - October, this park offers every camper a little something. Kreher Park operates on a “first come, first served” system. Reservations for month long camping only. Please call the APR office at 715-682-7059 for information on campground occupancy.

PRENTICE PARK CAMPING

Prentice Park offers campers a rustic camping experience while still being in close proximity to the amities of the City. Nestled in a boreal forest, camping at Prentice Park provides privacy and access to the natural wonders of the north woods. Prentice Park is only a short walk away from Maslowski Beach and The Blue Wave.  The park has access to multiple artesian wells, a playground, canoe/kayak launch into the Fish Creek Sloughs and 2 miles of ADA hiking trails. Tent and
RV sites available from May – October and operates on a “first come, first served” system. Reservations for month long RV camping only
